Financial Economic Crime (FEC)

Financial Economic Crime (FEC) takes many forms, including money laundering, various forms of fraud and illegal gambling. This crime is often detected by means of transaction monitoring (AML), investigations by CDD analysts of banks and/or by the FIOD, the Tax and Customs Administration and the Police. Various forms of subversion also often involve a financial trail. It is important to identify this type of crime early and to investigate it properly.

DataExpert offers various training courses to support investigators in this area. Some courses are offered in collaboration with the Study Centre for Public Safety (SPV).
