Cybercrime Training

Linux Command Line

Why use the Linux Command Line, when there's also a graphic interface with a mouse available? The Command Line Interface is more powerful, faster and effective than the graphic interface. The CLI can be of added value in Internet investigations, forensic digital investigations and in analysing large amounts of data. During the training, participants start at the base to learn about CLI. Additionally, tools like Nmap, Youtube-dl, Tshark and Netstat are discussed. These tools have added value during an investigation.

For whom is this training intended?
This two-day training is suited for participants with basic knowledge of computer techniques and who want to learn more about this field.

What will you learn during the training?
At the end of this training, the participants will know the difference between the Windows and the Linux Command Line. They can move through a computer system with Linux Command Line, safely investigate malware and analyse large files. Additionally, they know why commands like SSH, Nmap, Youtube-dl, WGET and HTTRACK are useful to an investigator.
