S.N.A.P.D. Social Media Collation for i2 Analyst’s Notebook
OSINT and SOCMINT play an increasingly important role in solving crime cases. During this training, participants will learn how to collect and aggregate public data from various social media channels using the S.N.A.P.D. technology. The participants then learn how to convert this data into the i2 Analyst's Notebook format. By converting social media data directly to i2 charts, it is possible to save a lot of time in the export and import process, reduce the chance of errors and perform in-depth analyses on the collected data.
For whom is this training intended?
This one-day training is suitable for operational/case analysts, digital investigators and strategic/tactical analysts who, in the course of their work, are confronted with online data collection (ODC).
What do you learn during the training?
- Collect data from open sources such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube using S.N.A.P.D. The list of data sources may change depending on the change in the data source itself.
- Aggregate and search data from various open sources.
- A target and/or point of interest to follow/monitor.
- Make the collected data available for network visualisation and in-depth analysis in i2 Analyst's Notebook.
