DataExpert trains government-wide investigative Netherlands
For the next 4 years, DataExpert has been selected as the exclusive training partner of the Dutch government for training in the field of (cyber) crime prevention.
‘Criminal investigations always have a digital component. The amount of data per investigation is increasing rapidly and is becoming increasingly complex in nature. DataExpert trains digital investigators, analysts and many others in the constantly developing technologies and methods to combat and prevent (cyber) crime’, says Robbert Bakker, CEO of DataExpert.
DataExpert will train investigators from over 70 ministries and agencies in the areas of Digital Forensics, Data Analysis, OSINT and Cyber Crime investigation. These include the National Police, the Ministry of Defence, the Tax and Customs Administration/FIOD, the Ministry of Justice and Security and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
DataExpert offers these government agencies training in which participants learn how to collect, visualise and present evidence in a forensic sound manner. This involves computer, cloud and mobile forensics, hardware lab techniques and image and video analysis. There are also training courses on the use of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Cryptocurrency analysis for investigation purposes. Furthermore, during the Cyber Crime training sessions, one can learn to detect and solve cyber crimes. DataExpert also provides training in the legal analysis of a case involving a large amount of digital information.
