Forensic Falcon®-NEO 2 is out!

At the end of June, Logicube released the Forensic Falcon®-NEO 2. In many ways, the Falcon®-NEO 2 resembles its predecessor the Falcon®-NEO, but has undergone a number of valuable upgrades and is now also even faster. Below is a brief overview of the main changes and benefits they bring.

Lightning fast
The powerful new architecture makes the Falcon ®-NEO 2 the first field imager with a 100 GB/m E01 speed. Furthermore, the NEO 2 features a SAS-3 architecture with (12 Gbps SAS) support that allows 5 simultaneous tasks in 10 different sources with 11 different destination ports. This makes it possible to copy SSDs at 115GB/min and clone PCle drives at 100GB/min.

New ports
The Falcon ®-NEO 2 features two USB 3.2 Gen-2 (Gbps) ports and two 10GbE ports. With the new 4-port USB to SATA converter, it is now possible to copy from 4 SAS/SATA sources to 8 SAS/SATA destinations with minimal speed reduction.

Cloud Storage Acquisition
Whereas in the Falcon-NEO the Cloud Storage Acquisition software was only available as an expansion option, in the second version it is included as standard. Support for AFF4 Capture will also soon be added to the Falcon NEO 2.
