NEW: Fast-paced i2 training at DataExpert

Besides enriching the i2 Analyst's Notebook and i2 iBase User training courses, this summer we will start working on shaping a new concept, namely Fast-paced i2 training.

What is the reason?
After analysing all training evaluations over the past year, it was found that there is often a difference in a group of participants in terms of prior knowledge and experience. For example, some participants already have some experience with i2 Analyst's Notebook/i2 iBase, other database or analysis programmes, or with programming from data science, for example. So they do not start the training as true beginners. The expectation is that these people will be able to complete the training more quickly.

We plan to add the Fast-paced i2 training courses to our portfolio from October '23.

What will change?
Fast-paced training will consist of three physical training days. A new e-learning will be made available prior to the training sessions. In it, the basics of i2 Analyst's Notebook/i2 iBase User are explained and various assignments can be made. The knowledge from the e-learning will only be repeated, not taught, during the training based on an assignment. There will be an opportunity to ask questions digitally in the week prior to the training. The regular training also has an e-learning module, but this is only to get acquainted with some basic concepts.

So the content of both courses is the same, but the time distribution and degree of independence is different.

More case studies
Besides the option to opt for fast-paced training, all i2 courses will make more use of thematic case studies and we will explain more functionalities, think List Most Connected, Maps and the Time Wheel in i2 Analyst's Notebook and the Duplicate Records Checker, Field Calculator and the Coordinate Query Builder in i2 iBase. These courses prepare you to work with many different types of data so that you can find a solution to any analytical problem. This is how we hope to make the training courses even more relevant to the field.
