Cellebrite UFED

UFED is a software application that allows the digital investigator to read and analyse mobile devices. Complex passwords, encryption barriers, deleted and unknown content can prevent important evidence from data carriers from coming to light. Cellebrite UFED provides the solution.

UFED helps digital investigators and researchers access digital evidence. It has functionality to easily access locked devices and the ability to bypass passwords and PIN locks. In addition, valuable data can be found with both logical, physical and file system extractions. This solution also offers the option of selective collection of cloud tokens and selected app data.

UFED supports more than 31,000 devices from Apple and Android, among others. The application can collect data from mobile phones, drones, SIM cards, SD cards and GPS devices and more. It also provides access to more than 40 apps on Android devices.

UFED is available on multiple platforms, namely:

  • UFED 4PC: a cost-effective, flexible and convenient software application for any user requiring access and data collection capabilities on their existing PC or laptop.
  • UFED Touch2: enables comprehensive data collection (both logical and physical extractions) anywhere, whether in the lab, at a remote location, or in the field.
  • UFED Ruggedized Panasonic Laptop: is a laptop computer running UFED software and comes in a purpose-built rugged case that is resistant to impact, shocks and extreme temperatures.
