Awareness Cybercrime & Security

This one-day Cyber Crime & Security Awareness training can be viewed as training consisting of two parts. In the first part, we'll introduce the participants to the different forms of cyber crime. This teaches them to recognise this form of crime.

In the second part, the trainers prepare the trainees for different forms of cyber crime using tips, tricks and tools. Additionally, we'll look at traces that can be left behind by cyber criminals. We'll also address detection opportunities for these traces and how these can be used.

When following this training, the participant doesn't just increase their knowledge regarding cyber crime and security, but also decreases the chance to become a victim of cyber crime.

For whom is this training intended?
The training is suitable for people working in investigation. Basic skills in carrying out an investigation are important in this training.

What will you learn during the training?
At the end of this training, the participants are aware of the trends, developments, opportunities and threats surrounding cyber crime and digitalisation. They will also know how to have a better password policy and recognise phishing. Additionally, they are aware of the dangers and opportunities of Wi-Fi networks.

The training can be provided in Dutch or English; both in class and online. Furthermore, the training courses are modular, making it possible to compose a customized training with matching casuistry.
