Major update to Voyager - the darknet search & analysis solution
At the end of January our partner Web-IQ performed a major update of Voyager. The new update brings advanced 'Workspace' functionality, a new menu and new headers for better navigation. Voyager is a platform that enables searching and analysis of the darknet. The data input comes from Web IQ's own Dark cloud, a database of scraped darknet (market) pages that are current, but can also let users look back in time to 2015. Below we discuss the highlights of the new release.
Improved navigation
In the new version of Voyager, the connection between ‘Modules’ and ‘Workspaces’ has become clearer. Navigation between two different modules and workspaces is also faster and easier. The header always shows the module currently in use and its associated workspaces. The new menu allows you to switch between workspaces without first having to navigate to the correct module or to the 'Team Overview Page'.
Clicking on the 'V' logo on the far left of the screen will take you back to the team overview page. Clicking on the workspace title will take you directly to the workspace details.
View a workspace or sign up for a search
Next to the 'Search' button, you will find the new 'Watch' button, which gives you the option to view the activities in a workspace. For example, an activity includes changing entity selections by yourself or a team member.
Once you start monitoring a workspace, you will receive a daily e-mail digest of the changes and it will be included in the new workspace activity timeline on the team overview page.
Every time you log into Voyager, under 'Latest Workspace Activity' you will see at a glance all the team activities in the workspaces you follow:
The eye icon in the workspace overview shows you which workspaces you are following/viewing:
Under the watch button, it is also possible to enable notifications for searches. When there is a new search result for that search, you will receive an e-mail notification almost immediately.
Five new Darknet Markets added to Darknet Specials dataset
The ‘Darknet Specials dataset’ now includes ads and other information from five additional crypto markets: "the new" Alphabay, Archetyp, Ares, Hermes and WeTheNorth.
The dataset contains pre-configured buttons for past and current markets. These have been updated and also show (a surprisingly large number of) recent market closures.
