Introducing, Martijn Hakstege, CEO DataExpert Group

My name is Martijn Hakstege. I was born on July 19, 1969, in Lochem, grew up in Ermelo, and have now been living in Zwolle for more than twenty years.

Here, I live with my wife Miranda and our four sons. Our black Labrador, Dex, completes the picture. Besides family and work, football plays a major role in my life. In addition to my sons, who are passionate players, I have also been a member of the Supervisory Board of PEC Zwolle for several years.

For most of my professional career, I have been an entrepreneur. I started as co-owner of the IT security company Onsight Solutions, which, after a merger, became Qsight and was later acquired by KPN. At KPN, I led the Security division for several years. After leaving KPN, I spent three years as the Managing Director of Tesorion, another IT security provider based in Leusden.

On September 28 of last year, I took over from Robbert Bakker as CEO of the DataExpert Group. In addition to our headquarters in Veenendaal, we now have offices in Rijswijk (DetACT), Sweden, Denmark, and Poland. This makes us a key pan-European player in DFIR, Analytics, Anti-Fraud, OSINT, Crypto Investigations, and Cybersecurity. With our solutions, we support our clients in combating digital crime.

Although I have only been with DataExpert for six months, I am deeply impressed by the passion, expertise, and dedication of my colleagues, who work tirelessly every day to make a difference.
